As of 01 July 2022, the German battery manufacturer Akku Vision GmbH has acquired 51% of its supplier in the field of battery management systems, the company jvi gmbh.
The contract manufacturer jvi, based in Deckenpfronn near Stuttgart, manufactures electronic control systems, to the highest quality standards, with modern machinery on approx. 350 sqm.
"With the acquisition of jvi gmbh, we are further increasing the depth of production in our company. Thus, we no longer only develop our battery management systems ourselves, but now also produce them completely in-house!" explains the managing director of Akku Vision GmbH, Daniel Maiberger.
Jörg Volk, managing partner of jvi gmbh adds: "The alliance with Akku Vision is a logical consequence, as the lithium-ion battery market is a future-proof growth industry and a door opener for new sales markets!"
